At any beginning, there is always a lot of information to absorb.
Last year I was very fortunate to be part of one of McKinsey's programs for aspiring Ph.D. candidates to become consultants. Part of the story is that I did not pass the interviews but the other part of the story is that I learned how another tribe of people do their work.
The associate consultant that was in charge of us, gifted us Moleskine notebooks and wrote to us: there will be scenarios where you cannot reach your laptop, and that it will be quicker to jot down some notes on the paper.
I have been in love with writing on paper for a long while already, so the validation that other people were into writing on paper was gratifying to me.
Below are some notes that I took while learning new stuff. I later transcribed them to a more legible form.
