Email tip

I think the internship goes beyond just doing research.

Although you are not physically present outside of Peru, you will be interacting with researchers that hold cultures way different compared to the one in Peru.

So, I wanted to share a tip regarding dealing with emails. From my previous experiences, e-mails from senior people to you have a lifetime of around 1 day. That means that if asked about something in a specific e-mail I would recommend replying within a day if possible.
If you are wondering in what tone to reply, I think that replying with excitement and enthusiasm are good starting points.
Of course, there are caveats to what I just wrote but if in doubt I would take it as a starting point.
