directors and owners

There was some nagging feeling in the back of my head that I had struggled for more than a year to put a story to it. It just bothers me.

I don't recall when, but I remember reading that employees differ from owners. And the sentence referred to all levels of employees, from low to up.

In Indra's memoir, she wrote that even as a CEO, she had to serve the stakeholders, whether the board of directors or the public market.

Employees vs. owners has been a sentence on my mind for a while, but it took me some time to experience it. Even directors and chiefs get to work for someone else and then comes a decision of whether to stay or move to the path your creative expression calls for, not what the owners need you to execute.
